The sea is right in front of you, so you can see the sunrise and sunset perfectly.
The hotel itself has the appearance of an old resort hotel. The sea in front of the hotel has a lot of rocks, so it's not suitable for swimming. The room was just renovated, so it was clean. The observation bath has a great view and you can enjoy the sunrise from there. The food was Japanese French, and we enjoyed grilled spiny lobster and golden-eyed snapper. Breakfast was a buffet of Japanese and Western food, which was also delicious.

We recommend getting off at an intermediate stop.
This is a recommended resort hotel in the Izu Peninsula, where many local train lines run. You can relax in a quiet environment surrounded by abundant nature. You can enjoy delicious seafood made with local ingredients.

Shimoda
There are many local trains on the Izu Peninsula. I recommend the Shimoda Prince Hotel in Shimoda. The coastline is right next to the hotel. For meals, you can eat seafood dishes that use plenty of fresh seafood caught in the nearby seas.

I recommend Shimoda
Why not take a little detour to Shimoda in Shizuoka Prefecture? We recommend the Shimoda Prince Hotel. The hotel is located on the seafront and has an outstanding view. When you wake up in the morning and open the curtains, you will see a clear blue sky and a cobalt blue sea.

A hotel with Breathtaking view near Shirahama Beach
This hotel is located on Shirahama Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Izu. There is a pool and hot springs, and the Kawazu cherry blossoms bloom in February, so you can get a head start on spring. The rooms are spacious and have a great ocean view. The location is also great for swimming, so I recommend it. The food is Japanese and Western, and the simmered golden-eyed snapper was delicious. There was also spiny lobster, so you could enjoy the seafood of Izu. There is an underwater aquarium near the hotel where you can interact with dolphins.
