Hotels near the station and Komoro Castle Ruins and Kaikoen Garden
Komoro Castle Kaikoen in Nagano Prefecture is a popular cherry blossom spot that has been selected as one of the "100 Best Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan." The Cherry Blossom Festival is held in April, when about 500 cherry trees are in full bloom. There were various events such as concerts and photo contests. At night, we enjoyed the illuminated cherry blossoms. The hotel is close to Komoro Station and Komoro Castle Kaikoen is just a short walk away, so the location is good. You can soak in Komoro Onsen while looking out at the Shinshu mountains. Although it is an old building, it was well-cleaned and we had a comfortable stay. There was also a ping pong table and a shop inside the building. The food was Buffet, and we enjoyed the ample portions and variety.
