  • This is a historic luxury hotel that opened in 1927 in front of Yamashita Park. It is famous as a guest house with a classical design, and you can enjoy the history and culture of Yokohama. It is very close to Exit 1 of Motomachi-Chukagai Station, so it was easy to get to. It takes about 20 minutes by train to the Cup Noodles Museum. The hotel has a main building and a tower building, and offers various types of rooms. I stayed on a high floor of the tower building, and it was nice to have a good view of Yamashita Park and Yokohama Port. There were various restaurants and bars inside the hotel, including French cuisine.

  • This is a clean hotel located 5 minutes walk from Chinatown. After breakfast, you can walk through Yamashita Park in front of the hotel, and it is a good idea to walk through the large park while looking at the sea of Yokohama Port. Chinatown is very large, so I recommend getting a map at the hotel reception. (To avoid getting lost) I think the hotel is inexpensive for a hotel in this area.

  • If your budget is not an issue, we recommend the Hotel New Grand. It is a representative hotel of Yokohama facing Yamashita Park, and is a 2-3 minute walk from Chinatown. It opened in the early Showa period and is a historic and distinguished hotel that also served as Yokohama's guest house. If you stay in the Tower Building, you can enjoy the night view of Yokohama.
