A classic hotel popular as a guest house
This is a historic luxury hotel that opened in 1927 in front of Yamashita Park. It is famous as a guest house with a classical design, and you can enjoy the history and culture of Yokohama. It is very close to Exit 1 of Motomachi-Chukagai Station, so it was easy to get to. It takes about 20 minutes by train to the Cup Noodles Museum. The hotel has a main building and a tower building, and offers various types of rooms. I stayed on a high floor of the tower building, and it was nice to have a good view of Yamashita Park and Yokohama Port. There were various restaurants and bars inside the hotel, including French cuisine.

The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from Chinatown
This is a clean hotel located 5 minutes walk from Chinatown. After breakfast, you can walk through Yamashita Park in front of the hotel, and it is a good idea to walk through the large park while looking at the sea of Yokohama Port. Chinatown is very large, so I recommend getting a map at the hotel reception. (To avoid getting lost) I think the hotel is inexpensive for a hotel in this area.

If you're on a budget, I recommend New Grand.
If your budget is not an issue, we recommend the Hotel New Grand. It is a representative hotel of Yokohama facing Yamashita Park, and is a 2-3 minute walk from Chinatown. It opened in the early Showa period and is a historic and distinguished hotel that also served as Yokohama's guest house. If you stay in the Tower Building, you can enjoy the night view of Yokohama.

The main building of the New Grand is a historic hotel where MacArthur once stayed. If you stay in the main building, you can really appreciate the quality of a classic hotel.
