Enjoy Misasa Onsen at a cozy inn
I recommend "Hashizuya" in Misasa Onsen, Tottori Prefecture. It is a small inn located along the river. The entire building is covered with tatami mats, so you don't need to wear slippers. This inn actually serves very cheap and reasonably priced crab in the winter, but the chef is very skilled, so you can enjoy the food even in the summer. You can enjoy baths with different atmospheres, such as a large bath with 100% natural hot spring, a independent guest cottages bath built in a storehouse, and a private bath.
