  • Private & English-Friendly Ryokan for Discerning Travelers

This Ryokan is renowned for its 100% natural, free-flowing hot springs that are neither circulated nor filtered. It boasts five private open-air baths, all located on the top floor, offering superb views while you soak. Since they are private, you can enjoy your time without worrying about others, ensuring a truly personal experience. If you want to see the fireworks from your room, booking a sea-facing room is essential. Some fireworks might be partially obscured by a neighboring apartment building, but if that's not an issue, it's a great choice. You can also enjoy breakfast and dinner in your room, allowing for a private and special time. The spacious, tatami-matted rooms will help you relax even more.

  • Surprisingly close to the Kanto region! A lodging in Atami Onsen where you can travel alone and enjoy in-room dining

Although it is located in Atami, it is surprisingly close to Tokyo Station, only 40 minutes by Shinkansen. This inn is also open to solo travelers, and as the name suggests, you can enjoy the hot spring waters 100% natural hot spring all night long without time restrictions. You can also use the private open-air bath to soak in the hot springs while looking at the ocean. Both dinner and breakfast are served in your room, which is a great point for solo travelers, and for dinner you can enjoy boiled red-eyed snapper and wagyu steak.

  • This is an inn in Atami Onsen that offers a private open-air bath with a view of the sea.

Atami Onsen It is a hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a great view of Atami Bay from the room. There is also a private open-air bath with a view of the ocean from the bath, which is highly recommended. The bath is a natural hot spring with its own hot spring source and free-flowing hot spring water. We also recommend the dinner, which offers plenty of fresh seafood such as lobsters and kinmoku (goldfish).

  • I was able to enjoy a private cypress bath.

This private open-air bath was made of cypress, so we were able to enjoy the view and the hot hot spring without any worries. The ocean spread out in front of us, and it was a refreshing sight. The meal was a seafood-focused kaiseki course that is unique to Atami. It was a luxurious meal that also included golden-eyed snapper. Since the meal was served in the room, we could enjoy alcohol without any worries and had a great time.

  • Hotel Kanichi: Enjoy dinner and breakfast in your room

If you are looking for a place to stay in Atami Onsen that serves meals in your room, I recommend Hotel Kanichi. Both dinner and breakfast are served in your room, so I think it will be fine even in the COVID-19 pandemic. For dinner, you can enjoy kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )includes a boat-shaped platter of fresh local fish, boiled golden-eyed snapper, and wagyu steak. For breakfast, you can enjoy a Japanese set meal that includes hot, dried local fish. The large public bath is equipped with a large tub, so you can enjoy the hot springs in a relaxing atmosphere. There are also two other private open-air baths with a view, so you can enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content while looking out at the beautiful scenery of Sagami Bay. All of the baths here are free-flowing from the hotel's own hot spring source.
