  • Hotel Okura: Japan's Premier Hotel Group (And You Can Buy Disney Merch Inside!)

  • If you're looking for top-tier Japanese service, you have to check out the Hotel Okura Group. This hotel near the Disney parks has incredibly spacious rooms, and the bathrooms are all marble, giving it a really luxurious feel. For a truly Japanese experience, they also offer washitsu (Japanese-style rooms) where you can experience the traditional lifestyle of sleeping on a futon on tatami mats. Plus, guests in the washitsu get exclusive access to an onsen (hot spring)-style public bath. Depending on the time of day, you might even be ableto reserve it for private use! Here’s a great tip: There's a Disney store right in the hotel that sells official park merchandise and souvenirs. It’s so convenient! You can check out what to buy right after you check in. The food is fantastic, too. I especially recommend the breakfast buffet. It has a huge spread of both Japanese and Western dishes, but the absolute must-try is the Okura's traditional French toast!

  • A High-Quality Hotel Stay Defined by Meticulous Hospitality

  • If you are looking for "real service" near Disneyland, I highly recommend the Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay. The staff here are true professionals who seem to anticipate exactly what guests need before they even have to ask. For example, when I looked just a little lost in the lobby, a staff member approached me right away to offer help. They were also incredibly thorough when assisting with restaurant reservations and explaining the best ways to get to the Disney parks. While the gorgeous décor and spacious bathrooms are certainly wonderful, I truly believe that the "human touch"—the quality of the service—is this hotel's greatest asset.

  • Top-Notch 'Omotenashi' That Truly Delivers

  • If genuine 'omotenashi' (Japanese hospitality) is what you're looking for, you simply can't go wrong with Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay. It's part of Japan's famous 'Okura' hotel brand, and you can tell that every single staff member is exceptionally well-trained. I was staying with my daughter, and right from the moment we checked in, the staff made a point to get down to her eye level and speak to her with a huge smile. When we returned exhausted from the park, their "Okaerinasaimase!" (Welcome back!) felt so incredibly warm. Even the housekeeping staff you pass in the lobby—literally everyone—gives you a pleasant, heartfelt greeting. As a dad, it was just so reassuring. We were able to have a completely relaxing stay, feeling totally at ease even with a young child.

  • Recommended hotels for families traveling to Disneyland

  • If you're traveling to Disneyland with children, we recommend Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay. As an official Disney hotel, it offers a wide range of services, and for an additional fee, you can leave your luggage at the hotel when you check out and pick it up at the Tokyo Disney Resort Welcome Center when you leave. It's also convenient because you can purchase Disney merchandise sold at the park in advance at the hotel shop. They also have Japanese-style rooms, which are recommended for families with children, so you can all lie down on futons and enjoy a traditional Japanese family experience.

  • The Perfect Stay for a Tokyo Disneyland Trip

  • The Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay in Urayasu, Chiba was great. It was close to Disneyland, so we stayed there. We arrived at the hotel in the morning, parked the car in the parking lot, checked in at reception desk, left our luggage there, and took the free bus to Disneyland. When we entered the room, we were surprised at how spacious it was. We thought it would be a twin bed, but we were happy to find that there were two extra beds. The bathroom was clean and spacious, and the amenities were great. Breakfast was Buffet, and the French toast was delicious, so the kids were delighted.

  • Everything about this hotel is excellent

  • Everything about this hotel was wonderful, from the kindness of the doorman we first met to the final farewell. We stayed in a superior room, but even though it was a lower rank, the room was very spacious and luxurious. The courtyard was also very stylish, and had the atmosphere you'd expect from Hotel Okura. The restaurant staff were also cheerful and had lovely smiles when they greeted us.

  • I recommend this official hotel because the breakfast is delicious. Considering the location, it can't beat the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, but I think it's good value for money, including the price. In addition, it has Japanese-style rooms and private baths, so I think it's also recommended for families with children.

  • A luxurious and spacious hotel

  • The entrance is spacious and open, like a resort hotel in Hawaii. The spacious room has an equally spacious bathroom. The large bathtub overflows in 30 seconds, and there is a separate shower booth. The smart and friendly customer service is impeccable. There is a plan that includes the right to purchase tickets to Tokyo Disney Resort, so please take advantage of it.
