"Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo" Reviews & Details
"Keio Plaza Hotel TokyoReviews about "
- Established in 1971, Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo is a well-established landmark known for consistently welcoming a large number of international guests. A huge plus is that the hotel serves as a direct pick-up and drop-off point for limousine buses to and from both Narita (NRT) and Haneda (HND) airports, meaning their staff are well-versed in English and accustomed to assisting overseas visitors.
While you might initially think the prices are on the higher side, a room-only stay can surprisingly start from around ¥20,000, which is quite reasonable for the quality and location. One of the standout features is the sheer number of dining and drinking options – with about 20 restaurants, bars, and lounges within the hotel, you'll be spoiled for choice from breakfast to a late-night drink!
They offer a variety of room types, accommodating anywhere from one to four guests. For the ultimate experience, I highly recommend requesting a room on a higher floor where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Shinjuku's glittering nightscape. It's a truly iconic Tokyo experience!

Hotels in the Shinjuku area are convenient
- If you plan on traveling the next day, a hotel in the Shinjuku area may be convenient. Keio Plaza Hotel is within walking distance of Shinjuku Station, with the nearest station being Tocho-mae Station on the subway. Shinjuku Gyoen and Kabukicho are on the opposite side of the station, but you can walk there. The hotel itself is also known for its great views from the rooms.

It is a comfortable hotel
- Located a 5-minute walk from the west exit of Shinjuku Station, it has good access to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building on the Oedo Line and is a great base for sightseeing. Amenities are provided, and there is a lounge with a Starbucks espresso machine and a convenience store, so it is comfortable to stay.

There is a direct bus from the airport so you won't get lost
- There is a limousine bus from the airport, so even if it's your first time, you can get to the hotel without getting lost. It's also close to Shinjuku Station, and there are staff members who can speak English. I had a foreign friend stay here before and it was very well received. There have also been some great deals on room rates if you book early, so be sure to check out the rates early.
