Washintei Hougetu

This is a luxury inn in Lake Ashi Onsen, located just east of Hakone Shrine. It is a small, long-established luxury inn, and the interior and rooms were just renovated this year and are very clean. There is also an open-air bath in the garden with natural hot spring water, and the kaiseki cuisine was beautifully presented and elaborately prepared, making it exquisite.

You can enjoy the free-flowing simple sulfur spring water in the inn's long-loved open-air cypress bath "Deaizuki" and in the large bath made of blue stone.
