A famous Ryokan (Japanese inn) located in the middle of the Shimanami Kaido
Located right next to Setoda Port on Ikuchijima Island, exactly halfway along the Shimanami Kaido, Ryokan (Japanese inn) is popular with many cyclists. The inn's unique meals, which use plenty of fresh local seafood, and the baths with floating lemons, a local specialty, are also a highlight of the Ryokan (Japanese inn).

A traditional Ryokan (Japanese inn) on Ikuchijima Island
I recommend "Tsutsui" on Ikuchijima Island near Onomichi. I hope you can imagine a traditional Ryokan (Japanese inn). There is a small port nearby, so you can feel the atmosphere of Setouchi. For meals, a wide variety of fresh Setouchi seafood is served.

Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Ikuchijima
Since the Shimanami Highway was fully opened, there is Ryokan (Japanese inn) that has been bustling. It is "Tsutsui" on Ikuchijima Island. The specialty of this hotel is the lemon bath. The citrus scent will soothe your body from head to toe.

There is a lemon bath
How about "Tsutsui," which has a reputation for its lemon baths through word of mouth? The inn is located on the west side of Ikuchijima, along the coast. The staff were very kind and gave us recommendations for great spots and delicious restaurants. The inn's meals were all delicious, using fresh seafood from the Seto Inland Sea and locally grown vegetables.

There is a bath with lemon in it.
This inn is located on the seaside of Onomichi, and the rooms are elegant Japanese-style rooms. You can relax and unwind here. We recommend the hot springs, which have lemons floating in the bath and are great for your skin. They are convenient because you can use them freely 24 hours a day. There is also an observation bath overlooking the city. Parking is free, so it is also convenient to access by car.

I recommend the inn's lemon bath.
This is an inn in Setoda, located exactly in the middle of the Shimanami Kaido. The warm wooden observation bath is filled with lots of local lemons, and the lemon scent will soothe your tired body. Perhaps it's the effect of vitamin C, but it also made my skin smooth. There is a "random Japanese-style room" so you can't choose your room in advance, but you can stay cheaper. We only had breakfast, but it was very delicious. It was an inn with a great view because it's by the sea.

Tsutsui: A Ryokan with a Bath Full of Lemons
Hiroshima is famous for its lemons, and this inn is well-known for its lemon baths, which are filled with fresh lemons! They also have other special lemon-themed offerings. The meals are packed with delicious seafood from the Seto Inland Sea. It's incredibly tasty.
