- I recommend this inn for its rooms, food, and baths. It is an old building, but it has been renovated, and it is still clean and well-cleaned. The baths are on the first floor, and include a hot bath, a warm bath, a jacuzzi, a sitting bath, a silk bath, a sulfur bath, a sauna, a cold bath, an open-air hot bath, a warm bath, and an open-air rock bath. There are three beds for a rock bath on the open-air side, and four mats for resting. The open-air bath is covered with a screen, so you can't see the ocean very well (although you used to be able to see it). However, you can hear the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves, so you can relax. The food is a breakfast and dinner Buffet, and the number of dishes has increased for dinner, and it has always been delicious. Most of the rooms have an ocean view, so you can see both the sunrise and sunset over the Pacific Ocean. The price is low, but there are a few rooms with poor views. Sea World is close, a couple of minutes by car, and a 12-minute walk.

「鴨川グランドホテル」は、鴨川シーワールドから徒歩15分ほどのお宿です。温泉は大浴場と露天風呂、３つの有料の貸切露天風呂で鴨川温泉を楽しめます。ちなみに、露天風呂付き客室のお風呂は人工温泉です。お部屋は海側のお部屋をプランで指定すれば、オーシャンビューのお部屋に宿泊できます。食事はプランにもよりますが夕食、朝食ともビュッフェが味わえます。

鴨川シーワールドも徒歩圏内だ。シーワールドにもホテルが有るのはご存知だろうが、リゾート感を感じたい、と言うことだと、私はこちらをお薦めする。このホテルには二桁を軽く越える位お世話になっているが、大好きなホテルだ。１階のラウンジからプールの横の目隠しから外へ出るとそこはもう海の砂浜だ。海に向かって同じ一階の左側は大浴場で、右側がレストランなので、朝食時はレストランのカーテンの隙間から漏れる朝陽が眩しい。また、大浴場の外湯からは絶えず波の音が聴こえて気持良い。大浴場は一箇所で内風呂に、ドライサウナ、水風呂、ジェットバス、シルク風呂、熱めの硫黄泉が有り、外湯には、岩盤浴が三床、休憩用マット４枚に木造りの寝湯、露天風呂、最下段に露天岩風呂が有る。岩風呂で波の音を聴いていると気持良くなり、決まってうたた寝をしてしまう。部屋は一部を除き、ほとんどオーシャンビューで夕陽も朝陽も見ることが出来る。食事はバイキングが種類も多く、美味しいので、朝夕食共ビュッフェスタイルをお薦めする。
