USJ Family Trip (1st time). Best affordable hotel with good access?
Planning our first family trip (4 ppl) to Universal Studios Japan. We want good access to the park but at a reasonable price. Are there any budget-friendly recommendations nearby? (Even Official Hotels are okay if they are good value!)
7Hotel rankings chosen by people
- This is the official hotel of Universal Studios Japan, managed by the Keihan Hotel chain. It's in the same area as the station and the park, so you can walk to everything. It's a relatively affordable place to stay, and they also have family rooms that can accommodate up to six people. You can enjoy the view from the 31st floor from the large natural hot spring bath.モモンガ's answer (Posted on:2025/4/ 4)

Easy access to USJ.
- The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's a great location, just a short walk from Universal City Station, the closest station to USJ, and just a 2-minute walk from USJ. The rooms are bright, clean, and modern. There is a fairly large TV. There is a convenience store on the first floor of the hotel, so it's convenient for doing a little shopping. The breakfast buffet also has freshly baked bread, which is highly recommended.ウイングチップ's answer (Posted on:2014/9/29)

A well-equipped guesthouse near USJ
-
This guesthouse is close to USJ. The staff are very friendly and even if you can't communicate directly, the documents are prepared and there was no problem. It is well-cleaned. Although it is a shared guesthouse, there are many showers and washbasins, and the facilities are well-equipped and comfortable. There are also convenience stores and hot spring facilities nearby. It is recommended because it is close to USJ and you can keep your accommodation costs down.のんのん's answer (Posted on:2025/1/30)

Very cheap guesthouse
- If you think that "cheap is the most important thing!", how about a guesthouse near USJ? Another attractive feature is that they are flexible in handling things like luggage storage before check-in, making it easy to plan your trip! The rooms and services are minimal, so it's perfect for families who like to move around lightly. There are private rooms that can accommodate four people, and the two bunk beds may be a hit with children. Showers and baths are shared, but it's a cheap and convenient place to stay.shibainu's answer (Posted on:2025/1/29)

3 minutes walk from Universal City Station

This is a budget hotel within walking distance of USJ! As an official hotel, it offers a wide range of services related to the theme park. It is especially reassuring to see the waiting times for attractions displayed in the hotel lobby. If you are a guest, you can purchase tickets at the hotel, so even if there are family members who don't like waiting, they can do so without stress! I thought the photo spots in the building were a nice touch that allowed you to enjoy the afterglow of USJ even at the hotel. It's cheap even with meals included, but personally I recommend only breakfast. I ate a lot in the park, so dinner was a bit difficult... (laughs). On the other hand, if you want to eat a good meal and avoid crowds, it's easier to eat at the hotel!わくわくさん's answer (Posted on:2025/1/29)

1 minute walk to Universal Studios Japan!

Despite being conveniently located just a minute's walk from USJ, this inn has relatively reasonable rates. If you calculate the price per person for four people, it's quite reasonable! What's more, the rooms have a cute, lively interior that's unique to being so close to USJ, so your children will love it. There are plans such as the one-room-selection plan, but if you're going to the trouble, try to find a room with your favorite color or character. There's no shortage of places to eat, so it's also a good idea to keep the price down by choosing a plan without meals.おむすびころりん's answer (Posted on:2025/1/29)

Close to the station and USJ, within walking distance
-
I stayed here to go to USJ. The location was great, it was close to the station and USJ, and I could walk there, so it was great. The room was compact, but clean and I slept well. The breakfast was simple, just bread and drinks, but I didn't mind because I was going to eat and drink at USJ. The accommodation fee was also cheap, so I recommend this hotel for those who are just going to sleep.すらりん's answer (Posted on:2025/1/30)
