  • I would like to know where I can stay in Shirakawa-go in winter and enjoy delicious local cuisine.

I want to go to Shirakawa-go, a World Heritage Site. I'm looking for a place to stay where I can enjoy delicious local food and alcohol in winter in Shirakawa-go. I don't have a specific budget. Can you recommend a place to stay that will leave a lasting impression?

  • Shirakawa-go no Yu is popular as the only inn in Shirakawa-go with a natural hot spring. In the open-air bath, you can enjoy the hot spring at your leisure while watching the scenery of the four seasons. Dinner is a Japanese meal that features brand beef and specialties from the Hida region, which I think goes perfectly with local sake. As one of the few accommodations in Shirakawa-go, I highly recommend it.
