There are few hotels around Meiji Shrine, so you have to go to Shibuya or Shinjuku, but this Dormy Inn is a 10-minute walk from Harajuku Station, so it's also recommended for sightseeing in Harajuku. There is a large public bath on the second floor, and in addition to the indoor bath, there is also a high-temperature sauna and a cold bath, so if you like saunas, this is the place to stay. There are only twin rooms, so you will probably have to stay in more than one room, but you can stretch your legs out in the large bath, and there are plenty of free services, such as a free midnight snack (Dormy Inn's specialty Yonakisoba (noodles sold by a hawker at night)) and free ice cream after the bath.mariruri's answer (Posted on:2025/1/22)

This is a popular hotel with a large public bath.
- I recommend Dormy Inn, a popular hotel chain in Japan. They have a large public bath and the famous "Yonakisoba (noodles sold by a hawker at night)" (night noodles). Yonakisoba (noodles sold by a hawker at night) is a light soy sauce ramen that is available for free every day from 9:30pm to 11pm. Only one child per bed is allowed to sleep with you. The Serta beds are large, measuring 100cm x 195cm, so you can relax comfortably. The hotel is located between Shibuya and Harajuku, a 9-minute walk from the Omotesando exit of JR Harajuku Station and a 10-minute walk from Shibuya. It is easily accessible from both locations, making it convenient for sightseeing.カフェラテ's answer (Posted on:2025/1/30)

It is within walking distance of Meiji Shrine, and is in a great location with easy access to JR Shibuya Station, Harajuku Station, and the subway. The room feels a little small, but it is fine for a family to stay there, and it is well-cleaned and clean. It was nice that the toilet and sink in the room were separate. Amenities were also provided, so there was no inconvenience. The breakfast Buffet had a variety of menu items and was enjoyable. There is also a large public bath and sauna, so you can relax.すらりん's answer (Posted on:2025/1/30)

Dormy Inn is not just convenient, it's also an exquisitely charming hotel.
- This inn is close to both Harajuku and Shibuya, making it the perfect location for exploring! Famous shops and tourist spots are dotted from Harajuku to Shibuya. Even within this area, this inn offers a good balance between price and service, and I think it's a great value for money in the sense that it's a good value for money inn. First of all, Japanese people tend to prefer inns with large public baths because they make them feel like they're traveling, and Dormy Inn is just that kind of hotel. There are only a limited number of cheap hotels in the city center that have beautiful large public baths.おむすびころりん's answer (Posted on:2025/1/24)

A hotel in the slightly deeper Udagawa area
- If you are thinking of having a meal during your stroll, we recommend staying at this hotel near the Shibuya Udagawa area. Shibuya has many chain cafes and izakayas, but Udagawa has many restaurants with a unique atmosphere that will leave you with a memorable stay. Of course, Meiji Shrine is also within walking distance. The hotel is spacious and clean, and has a wide range of amenities, making it convenient for family trips with lots of luggage. If you have small children, we recommend the Family Twin Room.
- This hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the New South Exit of Shibuya Station. If you have small children, we recommend the Family Twin Room. Not only is there a bed, but there is also a sofa space to relax on, and the hotel is also well-equipped with a washer/dryer, microwave, and mini kitchen, making it a recommended hotel for long-term stays. There are several Tokyu Stays in Shibuya, but please be careful not to get confused as it is the one at the "New South Exit"!mariruri's answer (Posted on:2025/1/23)

The hotel is an 8-minute walk from Shibuya Station and close to Shinsen Station.
- How about Tokyu Stay Shibuya? It's within walking distance from Shibuya Station, but it's also only a 3-minute walk from Shinsen Station, so it's convenient to go anywhere. The residential family type rooms are 40 square meters, which is comparable to a Japanese rental apartment, and come equipped with a washing machine and a kitchen, so it's definitely recommended for a few nights. In particular, the bunk bed rooms have a staircase that makes them feel like a secret base, so children will be excited and happy.OnsenDaisuki's answer (Posted on:2025/1/23)

How about a designer hotel with a bit more character than a business hotel?
- This is a designer hotel with simple, compact rooms. There are many vintage American furniture, but there are also rooms where you can sleep on a futon laid out on tatami mats. If you want a truly Japanese experience, we recommend a room with a futon, but if you're worried about unfamiliar bedding, you can also choose a room with a bed! There is also a cafe attached, so you can casually enjoy a meal or tea. (Cafes at Meiji Jingu and Shibuya are all crowded.)わくわくさん's answer (Posted on:2025/1/24)
