  • Recommended accommodation for foreigner friend sightseeing Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine

friend from my time studying abroad in the US and Europe is coming to Japan. I'm thinking of going to Kyoto with him and enjoying Fushimi Inari Taisha! Can you recommend a place to stay for sightseeing at Fushimi Inari Taisha?

  • A charming Ryokan (Japanese inn) with the atmosphere of a historic Kyoto townhouse

  • Inari Ouan is a traditional Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) that retains the atmosphere of a historic Kyoto townhouse, conveniently located just a 9-minute walk from Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. The exterior is Japanese and nostalgic, while the interior is modern and clean. The purely Japanese design of the shoji screens and tatami mats, and the scent of the rush grass will be exotic and appealing to your foreign friends. As it is located near the station, you can easily access any tourist area in Kyoto City.

  • Enjoy the Kyoto atmosphere at a Kyoto townhouse inn

  • We recommend this inn, located about a 4-minute walk from Kintetsu Ryukokudai-mae Fukakusa Station, the closest station to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. The inn is made up of several renovated Kyoto machiya townhouses, and has an atmosphere reminiscent of Kyoto's narrow streets, which we think will be well received by foreign visitors. There are various types of rooms to choose from, from buildings with a purely Japanese style that retain the structure of the Kyoto machiya townhouses, to rooms with a modern atmosphere.
