  • FLEXSTAY INN Shinagawa
  • Hotel recs in Tokyo where Vegans won't struggle w/ food?

My American friend (a strict Vegan) is visiting Japan (Tokyo). I need recs for a hotel where they'll be "safe" (food-wise). I know vegetarian is getting easier, but true Vegan (no animal products) isn't well understood in Japan. Any advice?

FLEXSTAY INN Shinagawa

1-22-19 Kitashinagawa, Shinagawa-ku

  • I think it's safe for vegans to cook at home.

  • I recommend Flexstay Inn Shinagawa, which is convenient and easy to use, located right next to Keihin Kyuko Kitashinagawa Station and within walking distance of JR Shinagawa Station. There is a mini kitchen for long-term guests, so you can manage your own meals. The beds are comfortable, so even larger people can stay here with peace of mind.

Tokyu Stay Nihonbashi

4-7-9 Honcho

  • Vegan hotels are hard to find

  • I think it's difficult to find a hotel Vegan Friendly, let alone vegetarians. So why not stay at a hotel with a kitchen and cook your own meals, or eat at Vegan Friendly cafes and restaurants from time to time? Tokyu Stay Nihonbashi is conveniently located, has clean rooms, and has rooms with mini kitchens, so I recommend it.
