  • Are there any hotels convenient for visiting the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome?

I would like to take my mother and I to visit the Atomic Bomb Dome, which former US President Obama visited, at our leisure. Since my mother is elderly, I am looking for a hotel that is friendly to senior citizen and where we can stay safely. Please let me know any recommended hotels.

  • The hotel is directly connected to the bus center from the 3rd floor, so you can access it by taking a limousine bus from the airport to Hiroshima Bus Center. We recommend that you leave your luggage at the hotel and go sightseeing. The location is excellent for access to the downtown area and the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Park. It is a little independent guest cottages from the busy areas, so you can get a good rest.

  • You can walk to the Atomic Bomb Dome. The Orizuru Tower is also nearby, so it's perfect for sightseeing around the Atomic Bomb Dome. This hotel has Japanese-style rooms where you sleep on futons on tatami mats, so you can have a more Japanese experience. You can access the hotel from Hiroshima Station by bus or tram, but there is no need to transfer, so it's not a problem.
