Sapporo hotel recs (in city) w/ Rotenburo? (Family trip, Feb).
Headed to Hokkaido, w/ family in Feb. Kid wants to go to Shiroi Koibito Park. We also want a hotel in Sapporo city (not suburbs?) with a "Rotenburo" (open-air bath). Any recs?

- Since it's February, I recommend Jozankei Onsen, which is also close to the ski resort. This is the hotel where I stayed. The large public baths are located in the basement of the main building and on the top floor of the new building, which are contrasting locations, and I prefer larger baths, so I mainly went to the main building. I also went to the Water Kingdom Lagoon (which has a heated pool), which is a specialty of this hotel. I liked that the dinner buffet had freshly made meat dishes and sushi. - We recommend this inn because it is conveniently located after visiting Shiroi Koibito Park. The hot springs have an open-air bath if you wish. It is an open-air bath with a great view from which you can enjoy the winter scenery. Meals are buffet style, with a wide variety of dishes that children will enjoy, for both dinner and breakfast. - Jozankei Onsen is located in Sapporo city and can be accessed from Sapporo Station in about an hour. There are many inns, but this is a long-established inn that represents Jozankei Onsen. It is very large and has excellent facilities. It is popular with families, so children can use it without worry. There is an open-air bath in the large communal bath.
