Aki Grand Hotel & Spa

1-1-17 Miyajimaguchi-Nishi

  • Recommended for solo travelers

  • This is a recommended hotel located on Miyajima in Aki, one of the three most scenic spots in Japan. It is in a great location, overlooking the World Heritage site of Itsukushima Shrine from the opposite shore. You can refresh yourself from the daily fatigue in the open-air baths and private baths.

  • A hotel with hot springs in Miyajima

  • If you are looking for a hot spring resort in Hiroshima, how about Miyajima in Aki, one of the Three Most Scenic Spots in Japan? We recommend the Aki Grand Hotel on the Honshu River. This inn serves delicious seafood dishes, and in winter we recommend the small, firm oysters.

  • Hot springs and seafood are both satisfying

  • Speaking of hot springs in Hiroshima, Miyajima in Aki is the best. The hotel I recommend is the Aki Grand Hotel. The large hot spring bath with a view of the sea is excellent. You will be surprised at the fresh fish dishes from the Seto Inland Sea. Please consider staying there.

  • The perfect accommodation for sightseeing in Miyajima

  • How about combining sightseeing with a soak in a hot spring in Miyajima, Aki? The hotel we recommend is on the Honshu side, overlooking Itsukushima Shrine on the opposite shore. It is an old Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs, and in addition to the large communal baths, there are also open-air baths and private baths where you can soak while looking out at the sea.

Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima

23-1 Motoujina-machi, Minami-ku

  • It's a hotel with a nice view.

  • I recommend the Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima. It's a wonderful hotel where you can comfortably enjoy the scenery around the Seto Inland Sea. It's convenient to go to Miyajima by a refreshing high-speed boat that departs from the pier in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is clean and easy to use, and there is a hot spring, so you can enjoy the autumn flavors of Hiroshima. I would like to recommend it as an attractive choice.

Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto

364 Minamimachi, Miyajimamachi, Hatsukaichi-shi

  • Hotels closest to Itsukushima Shrine

  • This is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) whose selling point is that it is the closest inn to Itsukushima Shrine. You can also easily visit Miyajima. There is also an open-air bath with the scent of cypress. You can see the large torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine from your room, so the view is not bad. This inn also has a commitment to food, such as kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )that incorporates plenty of Setouchi produce and local vegetables. The hot spring is an artificial hot spring.

Iwaso Ryokan

Momijidani, Hatsukaichi-shi

  • Accommodation in the National Park

  • The inn is located inside a national park, so you can enjoy the scenery. You can enjoy Hiroshima specialties such as oysters and conger eels in your room. The bath is a rare hot spring that contains radon. In your free time, you can take a walk while looking at the illuminated Miyajima.

Keishokan Sazanamitei Guest House

421,Tomo,Tomocho

  • A bath where you can enjoy a view of the sea.

  • This is a hot spring inn located on the seaside of Fukuyama City. A shuttle bus is available from the nearest Fukuyama Station, making it convenient. The hot spring is in a great location where you can bathe while looking out at the Shimanami Sea. In addition to the indoor bath, there is also an open-air cypress bath. Although meals are not served in the room, you can enjoy local seasonal dishes such as sea bream rice and conger eel in a quiet place.

Ryokan Migiwatei Ochikochi

629,Tomo, Tomocho

  • All rooms have an open-air bath.

  • Although it is surprisingly unknown, there is a hot spring in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture. The hot spring is called Tomonoura Onsen, and "Tei-tei Onne-konne" is a high-class Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs and open-air baths with ocean views in all rooms. Both dinner and breakfast are excellent, so I think it is definitely a place you should stay.

Miyahama Grand Hotel

2-5-4 Miyahamaonsen

  • How about Miyahama Onsen?

  • It's convenient to be picked up from JR Onoura Station. The inn is located on the seafront and has a nice view. The open-air bath is not very large, but it is very comfortable with a panoramic view of the ocean. The indoor bath in the large communal bath is made of glass, so you can enjoy a great panoramic view of the ocean. The meals are a kaiseki meal made with local ingredients, and the seafood is delicious. You can enjoy it in the comfort of your room.

  • Enjoy hot springs and food in Miyajima

  • If you want to relax alone, I recommend Miyajima Shioyu Onsen Kinsuikan in Miyajima. It has a long history, and you can enjoy its charm and calm. You can choose from several room types. Dinner is served in the room, and all the dishes were delicious.
