What hotels or Ryokan (Japanese inn) would you recommend for a sightseeing trip to Itsukushima Shrine?
I'm planning to go on a trip to Itsukushima Shrine this fall. My main goal is to visit Itsukushima Shrine, but I'd also like to explore the surrounding area. Could you please tell me the recommended sightseeing route, and recommended hotels and Ryokan (Japanese inn)?

- It's a high-end inn in Hiroshima, so if you're going to Miyajima to celebrate something, consider staying at Iwaso. It's a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) on Miyajima that's loved by many people. Miyajima is not well known, but it's the island of Shugendo. If you climb Mt. Misen, you'll find many Shugendo ruins. The fires lit by the ascetics were revered as lighthouses for ships traveling in the Seto Inland Sea. This inn is located in Momijidani, at the foot of Mt. Misen.ステレンキョウ's answer (Posted on:2017/5/30)

Recommended hotels for strolling around Itsukushima Shrine

Itsukushima Shrine is a 3-minute walk away, the ropeway is about 10 minutes away, and the pier is within 20 minutes. This is a long-established inn in the area, where you can enjoy hot springs and delicious food. It is also conveniently located for exploring the surrounding areas of Hiroshima, so why not take advantage of the opportunity to stay at a nice inn?teraos's answer (Posted on:2017/5/30)
