  • Gero Onsen | Please tell me about a popular inn where I can enjoy hot spring table tennis with friends.

I'm thinking of going to Gero Onsen with a friend. I'm thinking of playing table tennis for the first time in a while, reminiscing about my school days. Are there any recommended inns?

  • There are two private open-air baths along the Hida River, so you can enjoy a relaxing family bath. After the hot springs, you can enjoy the classic table tennis. For dinner, you can enjoy Hida's local cuisine, such as Hoba-yaki. The local Hida sake was so delicious that I drank too much.

  • "Yamagataya" is an inn that offers a shuttle service from JR Gero Station. You can enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content in the rooms with semi-open-air baths, private open-air baths, and shared large public baths and open-air baths. Meals vary depending on the plan, but you can enjoy Hida beef as "Shabu Shabu（Japanese hotpot）" or "sukiyaki" for dinner.
