• If you are planning to take a leisurely trip along the JR Tokaido Line, why not visit places associated with the old Tokaido road from the Edo period? There are many post towns along the old Tokaido road in Aichi Prefecture, and even today, they still preserve their pine-lined streets and streetscapes, and some, like Futagawa-juku in Toyohashi, have restored their honjin inns, so it might be fun to make a detour along the way. Unfortunately, you cannot stay at the restored honjin in Futagawa. Therefore, I recommend the Hotel Associa Toyohashi, which is directly connected to Toyohashi Station and is convenient and has good value for money. By the way, the nearest station to Futagawa-juku in Toyohashi is Futagawa Station, next to Toyohashi Station.
