  • Please tell me a recommended hotel near Otaru Station that has many repeat customers.

I'm going on a trip to Otaru in Hokkaido, and I'm looking for a hotel close to the station so I can easily go sightseeing. I don't mind a business hotel, so please let me know of a hotel that has a good breakfast and is highly satisfying.

  • This hotel is located about a 5-minute walk from JR Otaru Station through the shopping district. The building is easy to find as it is an oval shape. Depending on the season, you can enjoy Japanese meals such as squid sashimi and salmon roe rice bowls. In addition to the Western-style Buffet with plenty of carefully selected Hokkaido ingredients, there are several other dining options.

  • "Authent Hotel Otaru" is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from JR Otaru Station. Although the accommodation fee is a little high, the hotel offers a wide range of services, including a large public bath with mist sauna exclusively for guests, and welcome drinks. There are multiple restaurants, and for breakfast you can choose from a Western-Buffet, Japanese-style set meal, or seafood bowl. At the Western-style Buffet, we were able to enjoy a leisurely meal at the restaurant on the top floor while overlooking Otaru Port.
