Hotel Ichibata

Chidoricho 30

  • A hotel with hot springs located right next to the starting station for trains to Taisha

  • There is a hot spring and the food is delicious. It is close to the starting station of the Ichibata Electric Railway, so you can see the sunset over Lake Shinji, and you can take a leisurely train ride to Taisha Shrine while looking at Lake Shinji. If you take a short walk after visiting Taisha Shrine, you can also see the scenic beauty of Hinomisaki, so this is a hotel that I can recommend.

  • Located on the shores of Lake Shinji, it offers beautiful scenery.

  • Hotel Ichibata is located on the shores of Lake Shinji and is known as a hotel where you can experience the atmosphere of the Izumo Fudoki and the Seven Treasures of the Izumo Fudoki. Looking out over Lake Shinji and Mt. Daisen shining in the evening glow, you can imagine what Japan was like long before the Kojiki. When you go to Izumo, be sure to take the Izumo Fudoki with you. There is also a lot of information about Izumo Taisha Shrine.

  • The perfect hotel for visiting Izumo Taisha Shrine

  • There is a train (Ichibata Electric Railway) that goes directly to Izumo Taisha Shrine, so it is very convenient to get there and back. There are several hot springs not only within the hotel but also near the hotel. At the hotel, you can enjoy delicious kaiseki cuisine with fish from the Sea of Japan and clams from Lake Shinji.

Matsunoyu Hotel

1215 Tamayucho-Tamatsukuri, Matsue-shi

  • Relax in a beauty hot spring

  • This hot spring town is located along the river and is full of hot spring atmosphere. Tamatsukuri Onsen is known for its skin-beautifying properties, and there are several foot baths along the river. There is also a spring water pump where you can spray yourself with hot spring water. Sprays are also sold unmanned. Matsu no Yu is a ryokan (Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) located right in front of the foot bath on the riverbank, with reasonable prices and a relaxing atmosphere.

Konya Ryokan Hotel

1246 Tamayucho Tamatsukuri

  • An inn that gives you a sense of Japanese hometown

  • Although it is an old-fashioned inn, you can see the river from the rooms, and in spring the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. In summer, it is refreshingly cool. There are few people in the hot spring during the day, so you can relax. There is also an open-air bath, which is perfect for washing away the sweat on a hot summer day. However, please be aware that there is not much around.

International Hotel Tamatsukuri

  • Lake Shinji and Tamatsukuri Natural Hot Springs

  • You can enjoy both the historic Tamatsukuri Natural Hot Springs and the beautiful sunset over Lake Shinji. You can see beautiful views from the open-air baths and rooms. You can also enjoy elegant views from the lobby and rooftop. The food is also luxurious, and you can choose between Buffet or a kaiseki plan, so you can enjoy a leisurely meal while looking at the view.
