I'm going to Izumo for the first time. Can you recommend a place to stay that's not too far from Izumo Airport or Izumo Taisha Shrine?
My mother will be celebrating her 88th birthday this year, so I would like to take her on a 2-night, 3-day trip in May with my 3 children and my spouse. If possible, please let me know a recommended hotel that is not too far from Izumo Airport or Izumo Taisha Shrine. I would like the cost of my mother's accommodation to be shared among the three families, and to be within 100,000 yen per family.

- It is within walking distance of Izumo Taisha Shrine. The building is old, but that gives it a nice feel. When I stayed there before, I was impressed by how delicious the Nodoguro and Shimane beef were. The breakfast was also very delicious. It is located a little way into a residential area, so it was quiet. There was a ping pong table, so I enjoyed it for the first time in a while. It is a small inn, so I was able to relax in the bath, which was reserved for me.やくも's answer (Posted on:2016/10/21)

3 minutes walk to Izumo Taisha Shrine
- It is a 3-minute walk from Izumo Taisha Shrine, making it the perfect location for sightseeing. This inn has two spacious rooms, a Japanese-style room and a Western-style room, and is large enough to accommodate up to six adults, so seven people including children can easily stay here. The bathtub is spacious, so you can relax and enjoy it. For food, we had a kaiseki meal that included Izumo soba noodles. It is a homey Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a small number of rooms, so it was a very comfortable and pleasant trip, and I would recommend it as a recommended inn.ぽよよん's answer (Posted on:2016/5/13)
