  • I want to go to Chichibu Onsen in Saitama Prefecture, Japan! What are some recommended places to stay for a girls' trip?

I'm planning a girls' trip to Chichibu Onsen in December. I want to make it a memorable trip, so I'm looking for a place that costs less than 30,000 yen per night, even if it's a little expensive. I'd like a place with a spacious room that can accommodate three people.

Araki Kosen

1538-1 Kamiyamada, Chichibu-shi

  • Araki Onsen is a historic and atmospheric hot spring!

  • This hot spring inn is located in the middle of nature, and you can feel the history from the entrance. The hot spring is Tama-mizu Onsen, and the slippery water is popular for skin care. The hot spring charcoal soap in the hot spring lathers well, and it cleanses dirt nicely, leaving your skin smooth. Both dinner and breakfast are locally produced and have a good balance of grilled fish, meat, tempura, and sashimi. The salt-grilled sweetfish for dinner and the small hot pot of wild boar for breakfast are delicious dishes unique to Chichibu. As it is a historic hot spring inn, it is fun just to walk around the building. I recommend it because you can enjoy the hot spring, the food, and the atmosphere of 180 years of history.

  • A long-established hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Chichibu that boasts hot springs

  • This is a traditional, long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) that has been passed down since the Edo period. You can feel the history everywhere in the building. How about a 12-tatami Japanese-style room with an open-air bath? You can enjoy a luxurious Japanese banquet meal made with seasonal ingredients within your budget. There are only 13 rooms, so you can relax in the quiet building. We recommend this hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) as the perfect place for a trip with like-minded friends.
