Recommended Hakone trip: Hot spring inns with views of Mt. Fuji
We are going on a trip to Hakone in the spring with our family of four, including two children. Is there a hotel or Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Hakone with a good view of Mt. Fuji and a hot spring? It would be even better if there was a private bath for the whole family.
15Hotel rankings chosen by people
- This inn has a private hot spring overlooking Lake Ashi and Mount Fuji, so your family can have Breathtaking view and hot spring all to themselves. The guest rooms are clean Japanese-style rooms, and even children who are not used to tatami mats will have a fresh experience just lying down on them. The Japanese garden is also worth seeing, and just walking around the building will create many memories. The kaiseki cuisine, which changes monthly, is so exciting just to look at that I would like to visit in all seasons.帽子屋's answer (Posted on:2024/11/ 1)

A recommended Ryokan (Japanese inn) to stay at when touring the three shrines of Hakone
- I stayed here while touring Hakone's three major sacred places Hakone Shrine, Kuzuryu Shrine, and Hakone Motomiya. The room was a spacious Japanese-style room on the first floor, with a view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji. The view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi from the open-air bath in the main building was so amazing that I wanted to stay in it forever. The indoor bath was also spacious and had a great view. However, the last bath in the main building is at 7pm, so I wanted to try using it after dinner. The indoor baths for guests can be used to relax in Takogawa Onsen until early in the morning or late at night.夢々's answer (Posted on:2024/11/11)

Enjoy a relaxing time with your family in a room with an open-air bath
- This inn does not have a private bath, but there are rooms with open-air baths, so we recommend using those. There are rooms with a private open-air bath with a view of Mt. Fuji, or a semi-open-air bath. Overall, all the rooms are spacious, so this inn is popular with families. Dinner is a Japanese and Western buffet, so it's nice that everyone can choose what they like to eat. The menu is wide, with options ranging from pizza and pasta to sushi and tempura. There is also a wide selection of desserts, so anyone with a sweet tooth will surely be pleased!asas's answer (Posted on:2024/11/ 2)

I could see the Hakone mountains and Mt. Fuji.
- We were able to relax as a family in the private bath. We could see Mt. Fuji from the room. It is close to the famous Owakudani, and is conveniently located for sightseeing in Hakone. Rental amenities and meals for children are also provided, so it is a hotel where you can stay with your children without worry. There are also table tennis, karaoke, and a convenience store inside the building, so we had fun.星's answer (Posted on:2024/11/12)

A quiet hotel in the mountains of Hakone
- We could see the trees and Lake Ashi from our room. We could see Mt. Fuji from our room, but it looked better from outside the hotel. There was no private bath, but there was a large public bath and an open-air bath, so it was nice to be able to relax in them. The food was mainly Japanese, with a kaiseki dinner and Buffet in the morning. It was also close to Owakudani, so we were able to go sightseeing there first thing in the morning.siratamago's answer (Posted on:2024/11/ 9)

Family trip at a resort-like hotel

This is a luxurious hotel where you can enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji. You can also enjoy leisurely activities at the sightseeing boat and ropeway stations, which are just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There are also plenty of nearby attractions, such as shrines, so it's a convenient area for sightseeing with children. Unfortunately, there are no private baths, but the large public bath is quite spacious, so you won't feel cramped.浅姫's answer (Posted on:2024/11/ 2)
