Recommended Hakone trip: Hot spring inns with views of Mt. Fuji
We are going on a trip to Hakone in the spring with our family of four, including two children. Is there a hotel or Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Hakone with a good view of Mt. Fuji and a hot spring? It would be even better if there was a private bath for the whole family.

- It is located on a hill on the shore of Lake Ashi. It is a wonderful Hakone Ryokan (Japanese inn) where you can feel the warm hospitality of the staff. We had meals in our room. The Kyoto-style kaiseki kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )was very carefully prepared, looked gorgeous, and tasted delicious. We were able to spend a relaxing time with a view of Mt. Fuji. The free private bath was spacious and relaxing.中里's answer (Posted on:2024/11/10)

There is a spacious private bath where you can relax.

I stayed here with my family. Ryokan (Japanese inn) 's homey atmosphere, hot springs, and food are all excellent. There are rooms with different open-air baths. The rooms are spacious and relaxing, and you can see Mt. Fuji. There are plenty of amenities for children. There is a large communal bath with an open-air bath and a private bath. The private bath was spacious and free to use, which was nice.タカヒロ's answer (Posted on:2024/11/ 9)

A traditional Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) in the Sukiya style
- This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) traditional Japanese ryokan with a unique open-air bath. It overlooks Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi. There is a private bath, but if you have small children, I recommend a room with an open-air bath. There is also a courtyard with a great view. There are plenty of amenities for children to borrow, such as jinbei and geta. The food is also prepared in the room, so you can eat at your leisure without worrying about the people around you. It is a 5-minute walk from the Lake Ashi sightseeing boat dock, a 9-minute walk from Lake Ashi, and within a 15-minute walk from Onshi Hakone Park, making it a very convenient base for sightseeing in Hakone.コート's answer (Posted on:2024/11/ 6)

If you have a room with an open-air bath, you can use it with just your family.
- This inn has a private hot spring overlooking Lake Ashi and Mount Fuji, so your family can have Breathtaking view and hot spring all to themselves. The guest rooms are clean Japanese-style rooms, and even children who are not used to tatami mats will have a fresh experience just lying down on them. The Japanese garden is also worth seeing, and just walking around the building will create many memories. The kaiseki cuisine, which changes monthly, is so exciting just to look at that I would like to visit in all seasons.帽子屋's answer (Posted on:2024/11/ 1)

Purely Japanese architecture leaves lasting memories
- This inn is built in a purely Japanese Sukiya style, and the building alone is enough to make it a tourist attraction in Japan. Most of the rooms have tatami mats, but there are also rooms with beds and a modern Japanese interior. Each room has its own unique charm, so you can have fun choosing the room you want. If you have small children, a room with futons instead of beds would be safer as there would be no difference in height!井口's answer (Posted on:2024/11/ 1)
