  • Isegekusando Iseshinsen
  • Accommodation near Ise Shrine [Aichi Prefecture, Japan]

My family of three would like to visit Ise Shrine for the New Year. We would like to stay at Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a private open-air bath or a room with an open-air bath. Our budget is about 20,000 to 30,000 yen per person per night, for two nights.

Isegekusando Iseshinsen

Honmachi 1-1

  • It is a convenient place to stay if you use public transport.

  • It is located about 5 km from Ise Grand Shrine and 1 minute walk from JR Iseshi Station. It is the first natural hot spring inn in Ise city, and all rooms have open-air baths with 100% natural hot spring water. There is a large hot spring bath on the 5th floor. Dinner is a Japanese banquet. Dishes include pearl shell sashimi and crab taro. The sashimi is delicious with white ponzu sauce. Breakfast is a Japanese meal.

  • Near the Outer Shrine

  • We recommend this inn, located just a minute's walk from JR Iseshi Station along the approach to the Geku Shrine of Ise. There is a large public bath with natural hot spring water, but all rooms, including Western-style rooms, have their own open-air bath. The elegantly designed interior and rooms make it easy to relax. The kaiseki dinner is also a feast for the eyes.

  • Because it's so close to the shrine...

  • This hotel is located on the pilgrimage route to Ise Jingu (Geku) and is very close to the shrine. All rooms have an open-air bath, so the whole family can bathe together. This is truly a family-friendly inn. You can purify yourself before visiting the shrine, or relax after. Because it is so close, you can take your time and enjoy your trip to the fullest.
