• I stayed here while walking the Kumano Kodo trail. Both the open-air bath in the room and the open-air bath by the river were charming and wonderful. The open-air bath by the river in particular offers a sense of comfort and luxury that can only be experienced here. Outside of winter, you can rent a bathing suit and a shovel and dig your own riverside open-air bath.

• 数年前、夫婦で熊野古道を歩いた際に川湯温泉の「冨士屋」に宿泊しました。露天風呂付きの部屋はモダンなインテリアでとても広く、快適に過ごすことができて、料金も1人3万円以内だったと思います。また、毎朝の熊野古道「発心門王子」などへの送迎も助かりました。
