• Founded in 1932, this wonderful hotel offers Breathtaking view of Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji. There are rooms with open-air baths with views of Mt. Fuji. I stayed in a standard room, but the beautiful Lake Kawaguchi could be seen from the room, and it was a spacious Japanese-style room so I was able to relax. There is also a large public bath with a Japanese-style open-air bath and a private bath where you can have Breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji all to yourself. The hotel staff were also very kind and helpful.

• The weather was good, so we could see Mt. Fuji from the room and the bath. The room was spacious and had a stylish Japanese modern feel. Although Mt. Fuji was not visible from the large public bath, it was a lovely space with plenty of atmosphere. There was also a sauna. The private cypress bath was quite spacious and had a good view of Mt. Fuji.
