  • Popular hot spring inns with day trip plans in Hakone Onsen

I'd like to refresh myself in the Hakone hot springs. I have work the next day, so I'd like to use the baths on a day trip, but are there any inns that offer day trip plans?

Hakone Tenseien Hotel

682 Yumoto, Hakone-machi, Ashigara-shimogun

  • Conveniently located, just 15 minutes' walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station

  • If you are just visiting for the day, this hotel is highly accessible. It is a 15-minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station, so you can walk there and explore the town at the same time. If it rains or you find it difficult to walk, you can take Ryokan (Japanese inn) Association's shuttle bus course A for 100 yen. Get off at the bus bound for Takidori and it's a 5-minute ride. The hot spring is a natural hot spring with a weak alkaline quality, so you can relax and soak in it for a long time. In addition to the indoor bath, Breathtaking view from the open-air rooftop bath was amazing. For day visitors, you can use the bath for long periods of time from 10:00 am to 9:00 am the next morning, and you can also use the free rest area, the relaxation room that can be used as a nap room, and the dining area, so you can enjoy other things besides the hot springs.

  • The largest hot spring in Hakone

  • This hotel is located within a 15-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station, and its hot spring is the largest in Hakone. The entrance fee is a little expensive, but you'll be satisfied with the size of the open-air bath in the sky and the natural hot spring. There are also nap rooms and a restaurant, so you can relax there for half a day.

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) boasts a large open-air bath in the sky and a fantastic location!

  • How about staying at this inn, which has a large open-air bath in the sky surrounded by nature? The set admission fee includes the rental of in-house clothing and towels, so you can come empty-handed, and there are plenty of facilities inside the inn, including a free rest area and a restaurant.

  • Large open-air rooftop bath

  • The rooftop "Large Open-Air Bath in the Sky" offers a variety of seasonal views. The spring water is mild and slightly alkaline, which is gentle on the skin. Massage and foot reflexology services are also available, so you can relax after a long day at work.
