  • Popular hot spring inns with day trip plans in Hakone Onsen

I'd like to refresh myself in the Hakone hot springs. I have work the next day, so I'd like to use the baths on a day trip, but are there any inns that offer day trip plans?

Ryokan Yoshiike

597 Yumoto, Hakone, Ashigarashimo District

  • This is a hotel where you'll want to go just to take a bath.

  • I stayed with a friend! The room was so spacious that I couldn't even use it (lol). The food was delicious, and I couldn't find anything bad to say about it. Above all, the open-air bath was spacious, and there was also an indoor bath, so it didn't feel too crowded even during busy times. If you're uncomfortable bathing close to strangers, I recommend choosing a room based on the size of the bath!

  • This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a wonderful open-air bath.

  • This is a large Ryokan (Japanese inn) located at the end of a bridge across the Yumoto shopping street from Hakone Yumoto Station. They run a steakhouse, and if you have lunch there, the bath fee is half price, but I highly recommend the day-use bath plan that includes meals. As you would expect from a large Ryokan (Japanese inn), the baths are spacious! Both the indoor bath and the open-air bath, both made entirely of cypress, are spacious and relaxing. I stayed here with five friends, and we really liked how the room was spacious. Even if we stayed at another hotel, we would want to come just to take a bath with meals included. Of course, you can just drop in without meals!
