- This is a high-class hotel with a classy feel even in Tamatsukuri Onsen, and I especially recommend the purely Japanese-style rooms, which overlook the well-maintained courtyard and are very relaxing. My fondest memory of staying here is how friendly and helpful the staff were. It's located on the outskirts of the hot spring town, close to Tamatsukuri Shrine, so it's relatively quiet and comfortable. There are open-air baths with waterfalls and ones overlooking the bamboo forest, which gives it a very atmospheric feel. It's a long-established, high-class hotel.hahata's answer (Posted on:2021/7/ 1)

A luxurious inn in Tamatsukuri Onsen that fits your budget.
-
This is a long-established luxury Ryokan (Japanese inn) that was founded in 1885 in Tamatsukuri Onsen. The panoramic suite with an open-air bath on the top 6th floor is a luxurious room. You can also enjoy the hot springs in four private open-air baths and the large bath "Gekko-no-yu" where sunlight pours in through the skylight. As for the food, you can eat kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )that makes use of local ingredients such as mozuku seaweed and Shimane wagyu beef from Shimane Prefecture. The "Koshihikari" rice from Shimane Prefecture that is used in the cooking is particularly delicious.うまき's answer (Posted on:2021/7/ 7)

A Japanese-style hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) that combines a Japanese and modern atmosphere
-
If you are visiting Tamatsukuri Onsen, why not try Minami? It is a Japanese-style hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) that combines a Japanese and modern atmosphere. Inside the building is a magnificent Japanese garden, the beauty of which will cleanse your soul. The hot spring has a large bath with a garden and an open-air bath, where you can refresh yourself in the skin-beautifying waters unique to Tamatsukuri Onsen. Dinner is kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with fresh seasonal ingredients from Shimane. If it is within your budget, you can stay in a spacious Japanese and Western room with an indoor bath that draws hot spring water.Behind The Line's answer (Posted on:2021/8/12)
