  • Tamatsukuri Onsen | An inn with an open-air bath that will please your husband

My husband and I are going to Tamatsukuri Onsen on our wedding anniversary. Since we are going there, I would like to know if there are any inns with a nice open-air bath that will truly relax us.

Ryotei Yamanoi Hotel

1042 Tamayu-cho Tamatsukuri, Matsue-shi

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a spirit of hospitality.

  • I think it's nice to be able to relax in a not-too-large Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a hospitable atmosphere. I recommend this inn. You can also have dinner in your room (subject to change depending on the season), and the portions are plentiful, and everything was delicious, including the crab. The bath was spacious, and the open-air bath overlooking the bamboo forest was very comfortable. The location was also close to Tamasakuyu Shrine, so I was able to walk there and see the sights.

  • Tamatsukuri Onsen is said to be the hot spring with the oldest history in Japan. This inn had a nostalgic feel to it. I slowly enjoyed the hot springs that gushed forth from the nearby source. The open-air bath was also very tasteful and comfortable.
