Kanto | Traveling alone to a hot spring during the New Year holidays. Can you recommend a hot spring inn with in-room dining and an open-air bath?
I would like to stay alone at a hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) during the New Year holidays from December 31st to January 2nd. Are there any hot spring inns that offer breakfast and dinner in the room, and have an open-air bath with 100% natural hot spring that can be used until late at night? Please tell me about hot spring inns that are recommended for solo travelers in the Kanto area and have good transportation access from Tokyo (except by car).

- Although it is located in Atami, it is surprisingly close to Tokyo Station, only 40 minutes by Shinkansen. This inn is also open to solo travelers, and as the name suggests, you can enjoy the hot spring waters 100% natural hot spring all night long without time restrictions. You can also use the private open-air bath to soak in the hot springs while looking at the ocean. Both dinner and breakfast are served in your room, which is a great point for solo travelers, and for dinner you can enjoy boiled red-eyed snapper and wagyu steak.シゲオジ's answer (Posted on:2022/12/ 2)

You can enjoy breakfast and dinner in your room.
- We recommend Atami Onsen Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Higashikaigancho, Atami City. This lovely hot spring inn has a very comfortable, purely Japanese, relaxed atmosphere and is also recommended for staying over the New Year holidays. The in-room breakfast and dinner meals can be enjoyed at your own pace without worrying about the eyes of others, and the seafood dishes, which take advantage of the location's location, are delicious and visually appealing. If you have the budget, there are rooms with open-air baths, and the rooms in Urushihokaku (Kiso) in particular have a very elegant and relaxing ceramic bathtub where you can enjoy the beautiful garden♪エイム's answer (Posted on:2021/12/ 3)

Enjoy meals and baths in your room! A hotel where you can relax and enjoy your time.
- How about staying at Ginyu, located just a few minutes walk from Miyanoshita Station in Hakone Onsen, which is easily accessible by train? Breakfast and dinner are served in your room, and there is also a bath in the room. There is also a large public bath, so even if you stay for several nights, you will not get bored and can relax and enjoy the bath and the scenery according to your mood of the day.わらわら's answer (Posted on:2022/1/16)

A quiet hot spring inn surrounded by trees in a quiet residential area
- Sanpeiso is a 5-minute drive from Atami Station (a shuttle service is available from Atami Station). Founded over 60 years ago, this quiet hot spring inn is surrounded by trees and located in a quiet residential area. There are 11 spacious rooms to choose from, including those with a semi-open-air hot spring bath or a cypress bath. Breakfast and dinner can be enjoyed in your room, making it comfortable as there is no need to travel.Behind The Line's answer (Posted on:2020/11/17)
