I want to go to Takeshita Street in Harajuku, the cutting edge of fashion!
I want to go to Takeshita Street in Harajuku, which is famous for "KAWAii". Where should I stay in a hotel to get to Harajuku? I also want to go to Shinjuku, Ginza, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, and Akihabara. I would like to know how much it will cost to get there from a hotel in that area. Thank you.

- Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu is directly connected to Shibuya Station, so it is an easily accessible hotel that can be easily reached from Harajuku to Tokyo's major tourist spots on the JR Yamanote Line. Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine are about a 20-minute walk away. You can head to both Harajuku Station and Omotesando Station while walking along Cat Street, which is full of vintage clothing stores and stylish shops. There are rooms available to suit the number of people, and if you stay on a higher floor, you can look down on the view of Shibuya.モモンガ's answer (Posted on:2025/4/14)

We recommend using Shinjuku as your base! This convenient hotel is directly connected to the station.
- If you want to go to Harajuku, Shinjuku, Ginza, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, or Akihabara, we recommend staying in Shinjuku, which has good train access. It's convenient because you can go to any area by train without changing trains. This hotel is part of the large Prince Hotel group, and I think the prices are reasonable. You can also walk to Takeshita Street in Harajuku in about 40 minutes.モモンガ's answer (Posted on:2025/4/ 4)

Hotel near Shinjuku Gyoenmae Station
- If you're near Shinjuku Station, it's convenient to go anywhere by train or bus. This hotel is located right next to Shinjuku Gyoenmae Station and about a 10-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station, making it a business hotel close to the station. There is a large public bath in the basement of the hotel, and there is also a coin laundry. There is an open-air bath. The room is not large, but it was clean and comfortable. The price is reasonable and you can get to any station you want to go to in about 20 minutes by train.タカヒロ's answer (Posted on:2025/2/ 5)

There is a washer/dryer and microwave in the room.
- Of all the stations along the Yamanote Line, Shinjuku Station is convenient, so how about a hotel nearby? This hotel is recommended for multiple nights. There is a washer/dryer and microwave in the room. The room design is simple, but bright, spacious, and clean. It was very convenient to be able to do laundry in the room anytime. There are also rooms with a mini kitchen, so it feels like you're at home. There is a breakfast venue on the first floor of the hotel, and it has a Japanese and Western Buffet with a variety of menu items. The nearest Shinjuku-sanchome Station and Shinjuku Station are both within walking distance, so the location is excellent. Harajuku, Ginza, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, and Akihabara can be easily reached by train from Shinjuku Station, within 20 minutes.中里's answer (Posted on:2025/2/ 5)

A bright and clean hotel near Shibuya Station
- I recommend staying in Shibuya. If you want to do extensive sightseeing, it's convenient to stay at a hotel near a station on the Yamanote line, close to Takeshita Street in Harajuku. This hotel is conveniently located, just a 4-minute walk from JR Shibuya Station. I was able to relax in the calm lobby with a great view and a welcome drink. There is a laundry room, which is convenient for consecutive nights, and the amenities are sufficient even if they are minimal. The breakfast was a creative Japanese and Western buffet, which was healthy and delicious. The room was clean, spacious, and relaxing. It takes about 15 minutes by train to Takeshita Street. It takes about 40 minutes to Akihabara Station, but it is convenient because you can get to Shinjuku Station, Ginza Station, and Ikebukuro Station in less than 25 minutes.siratamago's answer (Posted on:2025/2/ 5)
