Osaka 2-Day Trip: USJ & Osaka Castle. Best hotel for Castle access?

I'm going on a 2-day trip to Osaka with a friend. We plan to hit Universal Studios Japan (USJ) on Day 1 and spend Day 2 sightseeing, focusing mainly on Osaka Castle. Since the castle is our priority for the second day, I am looking for a hotel that offers great access to the Osaka Castle area to make our sightseeing smooth. Do you have any recommendations?
