  • [Tokyo] Recommended cherry blossom viewing spots and hotels

My friend in Kansai is coming to Tokyo to visit. We are planning to go at the end of March, so we would like to have cherry blossom viewing just in time. Please let me know recommended cherry blossom viewing spots in Tokyo and accommodations nearby.

Asakusa View Hotel

3-17-1 Nishi-Asakusa Taito-ku

  • A city hotel that boasts views of cherry blossoms and the Skytree at the same time

  • Asakusa View Hotel is located near Sumida Park, in a great location where you can see cherry blossoms and the Skytree from your room or restaurant. It is also within walking distance of Sensoji Temple, making it convenient for sightseeing. During cherry blossom season, you can stroll along the rows of cherry trees in full bloom or enjoy cherry blossom viewing from a houseboat. We also recommend cherry blossom viewing at Ueno Onshi Park, which is nearby. You can also enjoy art museums and the zoo.

Hotel Grand Arc Hanzomon

1-1 Hayabusa-cho, Chiyoda Ku

  • Hotels near Chidorigafuchi Greenway

  • Every year, I take a walk while admiring the beautiful rows of cherry blossom trees along the moat of the Imperial Palace. Chidorigafuchi Greenway is a famous cherry blossom spot in Tokyo. This hotel is located near Hanzomon subway station and Chidorigafuchi Greenway. I have stayed there before, and it was a lovely hotel with a calm atmosphere. It faces the moat of the Imperial Palace and has an excellent view. The breakfast area had a high ceiling and a good view of the garden, so I was able to relax. The breakfast was simple, with either Western or Japanese food, but the taste was good.
