- This is a small, old rustic Ryokan (Japanese inn) that stands on a hill in Atami. You can enjoy the hot spring water, which is weakly alkaline and has excellent heat retention properties, in the private rooftop open-air bath and large bath, which overlook the city of Atami. As for food, you can eat kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with seasonal locally caught seafood, such as fragrant grilled spiny lobster and grilled abalone. The crunchy texture of the local turban sashimi is particularly delicious.うまき's answer (Posted on:2021/12/16)

This long-established inn has been in business for over 70 years, and has a retro, rustic feel both inside and out!
- There are two large baths, "Tensei-no-Yu" and "Kaisei-no-Yu". The former has an indoor bath, an open-air bath, a sauna and a cold bath. Meanwhile, the latter has an indoor Lying-down bath, an open-air bath and an open-air reclining bath. The open-air bath is quite elegant, with a cypress bath and a rock bath. Dinner is a kaiseki meal with delicious seafood and mountain produce, but the beef stew is so good that you will drink it all in one go without having time to catch your breath. Breakfast is a Japanese meal, and the Odawara-produced Kinjiro rice is so tasty that you won't be able to stop having second helpings.Shinryuken's answer (Posted on:2022/9/12)

A traditional Ryokan (Japanese inn) that represents Showa retro style

While large hotels are on the rise, this is one of the few hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) that maintains its old traditions.
