  • My second time in Arashiyama. Are there any cheap hotels available?

This is my second time in Arashiyama. I'm interested in Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama. The purpose of this trip is sightseeing, so I want to keep the hotel price as low as possible. Are there any recommended hotels that are just for staying, like a business hotel rather than a resort-style Ryokan (Japanese inn)? Thank you.

  • A reasonably priced hotel perfect for sightseeing in the Arashiyama area

  • This hotel is located in a quiet area a little independent guest cottages from the main tourist areas in the Arashiyama area. We recommend taking a taxi or bus to get to Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama. You can stay in a twin room relatively cheaply, and a double room is even more cost-effective. The interior of the room is a clean Western-style room, but the entrance and cafe area have a calm design that gives off a Japanese feel.

  • Experience making tofu for breakfast

  • The location is convenient for sightseeing in Arashiyama, including Togetsukyo Bridge and Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama. It is very close, just a minute's walk from JR Saga-Arashiyama Station, so it was easy to get around. The price is also relatively reasonable. There is a plan for a twin room with breakfast included, which costs around 10,000 yen per person. The breakfast was a Japanese meal that gave me a taste of Kyoto, and we also had the chance to try making tofu. The freshly made tofu was absolutely delicious. There is also a plan for just a room, which costs around 8,000 yen per person. There is a cafe and a large, comfortable public bath in the building, although it is not a hot spring.
