• I recommend Fushioukaku, located in the inner sanctum of Osaka. Ikeda Station is the nearest station and they also provide a shuttle service, so it's convenient. The outdoor bath is recommended, as the night view is fantastic and wonderful. They also prepare kaiseki meals, and the service is so good that you'd mistake it for a local hot spring resort. I recommend it.

• I recommend Fushioukaku as a place to stay not far from Universal Studios Japan where you can also enjoy hot springs. They offer a variety of plans, and the portions and amenities are well thought out, with the food being elegantly seasoned. The open-air baths in the rooms are also very comfortable.

• You can see fireflies in the river that flows in front of the inn. The inn staff told us the best time to see them. The inn is located in the lush green area of Hokusetsu, Osaka, and you can enjoy the beauty of nature from the open-air bath. We stayed in a normal Japanese-style room, but we were able to enjoy the beautiful nature from the window and had a very comfortable stay. There was a game corner and a souvenir corner inside the inn.
