Want to ring the bell at Kiyomizu-dera Temple on New Year's Eve? Find convenient accommodations nearby.
This year on New Year's Eve, I would like to go to Kiyomizu-dera Temple to ring the bell. Since I expect it will be crowded, please tell me where to stay near Kiyomizu-dera Temple or where it is easily accessible from the nearest station. I would prefer a place within 15 minutes by train.

- We recommend taking a leisurely walk from this hotel, located right next to Yasaka Shrine, to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Enjoying the atmosphere of Kyoto at the end of the year while walking is also a great way to travel, rather than getting on a crowded bus. It's within walking distance, and hotels near Kiyomizu-dera Temple are probably fully booked at this time, so we recommend this place as a hidden gem.まき's answer (Posted on:2015/12/ 3)

It's very useful.
- This hotel is located in Gion. It is a major chain, but the service is standardized, so you will rarely have an unpleasant experience. It is close to Gion and Kawaramachi, so it is convenient for sightseeing. I think it is better to walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple than to take the crowded subway.だえっだ's answer (Posted on:2015/11/28)
