I'm planning to go see the snow scenery at Kinkakuji Temple in February.
I saw the snowy scenery of Kinkakuji Temple on social media and it looked fantastic, so I want to see it with my own eyes. I'm thinking of going there in February, and I'd like to take a dip in a hot spring while I'm there. Please tell me about a hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) that's close to Kinkakuji Temple. I'm planning to go with a friend.

- It is located in the center of Kyoto, just a short walk from Shijo Karasuma Station. There are many shops around, so you won't have any trouble finding souvenirs. The room is in a Kyoto townhouse style, so you can relax on the tatami mats. The spacious and comfortable bath helped me to relax after my trip. I enjoyed a leisurely meal of Kyoto kaiseki cuisine in my room. They also have a wide variety of alcoholic drinks. Although the price is a little high, it is a perfect base for sightseeing in Kyoto, and is recommended for those who want to enjoy Kyoto cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. You can get to Kinkakuji Temple without changing buses from the nearby city bus stop "Shijo Takakura".マチコ's answer (Posted on:2025/2/20)

Recommended for those who want to enjoy Kyoto sightseeing to the fullest
- Kamogawakan in Kyoto City is a charming Ryokan (Japanese inn) located along the Kamo River. It is located right next to Sanjo Ohashi Bridge and within walking distance of Gion and Pontocho, making it a convenient base for sightseeing in Kyoto. We were able to relax while looking at the view of the Kamo River and Higashiyama from our room. The food was Kyoto kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with seasonal ingredients, which looked beautiful and of course tasted great. There was also a large public bath, so we were able to relax after our travels. The view of the Japanese-style courtyard was also nice. You can get to Kinkakuji Temple by city bus.静's answer (Posted on:2025/2/18)

A traditional Ryokan (Japanese inn) you can experience the beauty of Kyoto
- It is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn). It is an authentic Kyoto machiya Ryokan (Japanese inn) with traditional Japanese architecture that allows you to experience Kyoto. I was able to relax and enjoy the traditional beauty of Kyoto. Kinkakuji Temple can be reached by bus in about 40 minutes. There is a beautiful Japanese-style courtyard that has been carefully maintained while retaining the atmosphere from when it was built. The rooms are also beautiful Japanese-style. The bustling downtown area is just a short walk away, so it was easy and convenient to go out at night or early in the morning.asas's answer (Posted on:2025/2/18)
