  • Natural Hot Spring Super Hotel Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi
  • My foreign friend wants to go to the Samurai and Ninja Experience Museum in Kyoto.

Recently, a foreign friend of mine asked me for advice on going to the Samurai Ninja Experience Museum Kyoto. Apparently, you can wear a real helmet and take photos as a samurai, take lessons on swords, and experience ninja training. He asked me for a recommended hotel, but I've never been to the Samurai Ninja Experience Museum Kyoto, so I don't know where to stay. Are there any good hotels to stay at when going to the Samurai Ninja Experience Museum Kyoto?

Natural Hot Spring Super Hotel Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi

538-1 Nakano cho, Shijo agaru, Nakagyo-ku

  • You can also enjoy sake and shochu at the welcome bar.

  • This is a business hotel located very close to the Samurai Ninja Experience Museum Kyoto. The welcome drink included shochu and sake in addition to soft drinks, which were free to enjoy. There was also a large natural hot spring bath, which was alternated between men and women, but I enjoyed it and relaxed. The breakfast had a variety of side dishes and drinks, and the dining area was clean and nice. The room was not too small and felt spacious. It's close to the station, so it's easy to get around, and you can stay here for a reasonable price, so I recommend it.

Hotel Vista Premio Kyoto Kawaramachi St.

457 Matsugae-cho, Nakagyo-ku

  • A stylish Japanese modern hotel in Kyoto

  • Located close to Kawaramachi Sanjo, this hotel is convenient as a base for sightseeing in Kyoto city. Although it is close to the downtown area, it was quiet at night and I was able to sleep peacefully. The Japanese modern design gave me a taste of Kyoto with the washi paper lighting, shoji screens, and Japanese-style wallpaper. You can choose amenities from reception desk and take them with you. The Samurai Ninja Experience Museum Kyoto is within walking distance. Teramachi Kyogoku Shopping Street and Nishiki Market are also nearby.

Hotel Gracery Kyoto Sanjo

420, Sakuranocho, Rokkakudori, Teramachi-higashiiru, Nakagyo-ku

  • The breakfast menu is extensive, with all-you-can-eat salmon roe and eel dishes.

  • It was close to Sanjo Station and conveniently located for sightseeing in Kyoto. It was also nice to be able to walk to Gion. There are many restaurants and shops in the area, so it is very lively. The room was clean, the bed was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was also comfortable. There is also a concept room where you can experience the world of Kabuki, which is unique to Kyoto. The breakfast Buffet was rich and had a variety of Japanese and Western dishes, such as all-you-can-eat salmon roe, grilled eel, and hitsumabushi, and was delicious and plentiful. It is also close to the Samurai Ninja Experience Museum Kyoto.

Kyoto Umekoji Kadensho

41-10,Sujakuuchihatacho, Shimogyo Ward

  • A well-equipped hotel where you can enjoy the atmosphere of Kyoto and hot springs

  • Kyoto Umekoji Kadensho is a famous hotel chain, but it also offers a variety of hot springs and Kyoto atmosphere. The hotel is located just a one-minute walk from JR Umekoji Kyoto-Nishi Station. It is quick to get to the Samurai Ninja Museum by bus, but it is also convenient as a base for sightseeing, as it is easy to get to Kyoto Station. The rooms are also popular with foreigners, as they have a Kyoto-like interior. The hotel boasts hot springs, with a large public bath and private baths, so you can relax and heal your body and mind while in the heart of Kyoto.
