  • I want to visit Hikawa Shrine, a shrine famous for matchmaking!

I want to go to Hikawa Shrine in Omiya, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture. This shrine is famous for matchmaking, so I'm planning a girls' trip with my friends! I live in Osaka, so I think I'll stay overnight in Saitama after visiting the shrine. Please let me know if there are any recommended hotels or Ryokan (Japanese inn) to stay at when we go to Hikawa Shrine. Since we are two girls, we would like a clean hotel.

Palace Hotel Omiya

1-7-5 Sakuragi-cho

  • A convenient and comfortable hotel just a 3-minute walk from the terminal station

  • Palace Hotel Omiya is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from JR Omiya Station, and you can also walk to Hikawa Shrine. You can experience the hospitality inherited from Palace Hotel Tokyo in Marunouchi, Tokyo. Although the hotel does not have a hot spring or large public bath, you can take advantage of accommodation plans that include a free shuttle bus to an affiliated spa. This hotel is attractive for its convenience as a base for sightseeing and its high-quality service.

  • There is a large open-air bath with a view and an indoor bath that will give you a sense of the extraordinary.

  • It's about a 6-minute walk from JR Omiya Station. On the top floor, there is a large open-air bath and an indoor bath that are full of openness. You can see the beautiful night sky from the open-air bath, which was refreshing. The outside view is blocked by frosted glass, but it was an extraordinary experience that you wouldn't expect in the city center. There is also a sauna. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The breakfast buffet is on a high floor with a great view, so you can relax while enjoying the view. They serve Japanese and Western food, use locally produced ingredients, and have a wide selection of menu items. It's also conveniently located near Hikawa Shrine.

Super Hotel Premier Saitama Omiyaeki Higashiguchi

4-112-1 Miya cho

  • There are natural hot springs and rooms on the women-only floor.

  • It's a convenient business hotel, about a 15-minute walk from Hikawa Shrine and close to Omiya Station. It has a luxurious entrance, a large natural hot spring bath, a welcome bar, and is well-cleaned, so I had a comfortable stay. There are various types of rooms, including rooms on floors for women only and rooms with projectors. It's a popular chain hotel, so reception desk was friendly, and the breakfast Buffet was of high quality, with both Western and Japanese food, so I was overall satisfied. It's in the city center, but the price was relatively reasonable.
