I'm planning to go sightseeing in Kyoto and am looking for a hotel.
I'm thinking about going to Kyoto. I want to experience Kyoto's history this time, not just go to the standard tourist spots like Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, and I want to visit the Kyoto National Museum. There are a lot of travelers, so it's hard to book hotels, so I'm looking for a hidden gem (a hotel that's easy to book) rather than a standard hotel. I don't mind a hotel with a lot of rooms or a hotel a little out of town. Please let me know your recommendations.

- A free shuttle bus runs frequently from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit, so you can arrive at the hotel smoothly even on rainy days or when you have a lot of luggage. The hotel is filled with a calm atmosphere, and you can expect attentive hospitality. With over 480 rooms, the hotel boasts a wide range of rooms, so you have more chances to make a reservation on your desired dates.帽子屋's answer (Posted on:2025/5/ 3)

A beautiful hotel with architecture reminiscent of Kyoto by architect Togo Murano
- It's a little independent guest cottages from the city center, so I think the competition is less intense than around Kyoto Station. The architecture by architect Togo Murano is beautiful and reminiscent of Kyoto. In addition to Kamigamo Shrine, there are many other shrines and temples around the hotel that are easy to stop by, so it's also recommended as a base for a historical tour if you're interested.浅姫's answer (Posted on:2025/5/ 3)

A relatively quiet area
- Although it is conveniently located right next to Nijo Station, you can expect a relatively quiet and relaxing stay compared to hotels around Kyoto Station, and it is not difficult to make a reservation. It also has a large public bath with a view of a miniature garden like a Japanese painting. You can also enjoy the Kyoto atmosphere by renting a bicycle and going for a stroll along the nearby paths and to Nijo Castle.コート's answer (Posted on:2025/5/ 2)

Convenient and comfortable hotel
- With a wide variety of rooms, it is easy to make reservations. It is located right next to the Hachijo Exit of Kyoto Station, so it is convenient to go to the Kyoto National Museum as well as other historical sites. There is a standing bar on the first floor that you will want to drop by, where you can enjoy local sake sourced from a Kyoto sake brewery.静's answer (Posted on:2025/5/ 1)
