  • I want to go to Kamigamo Shrine. Can you tell me a hotel that is within an hour's travel to Kyoto?

I would like to go to Kamigamo Shrine, which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto." I hear that it is difficult to make hotel reservations in Kyoto at the moment because there are so many tourists. I am also considering a hotel within 30 minutes to an hour's access to the center of Kyoto, so please let me know what hotels you recommend. I would prefer hotels that are easy to book and inexpensive.

  • Affordable and spacious room is nice

  • The hotel is a little independent guest cottages from the subway station, so the surrounding area has a relatively calm atmosphere. The rooms are well-cleaned, and for a hotel in this affordable price range, the rooms are quite spacious. There are several convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, and a decent selection of restaurants.

  • Reasonably priced, typical of a hotel chain

  • HOTEL MYSTAYS Kyoto Shijo is about 40 minutes by bus from Kamigamo Shrine, but you can get there without any or with few transfers. Even though it's located in Shijo Karasuma, in the center of Kyoto, you can stay at a reasonable price as it is an affordable hotel chain.
