  • I'm going to Kyoto to see the Sanmon Gate at Nanzenji Temple. Can you recommend a place to stay with a hot spring?

I'm planning to go sightseeing at Nanzenji Temple in Kyoto to see the Sanmon Gate, which is said to be one of the three great gates in Japan. I'm thinking of staying overnight in Kyoto, and would like to stay at an inn with a hot spring. If possible, it would be nice if the inn served meals, but it's okay if they didn't. Price doesn't matter. Please let me know your recommended inns.

Kyoto Hot Spring Hatoya Zuihoukaku Hotel

802 Minami Fudondo Cho, Nishitoin Shiokoji Kudaru, Shimogyo Ku

  • A hotel close to the station where you can enjoy hot springs and fine cuisine

  • This is one of the few hot spring inns in the Kyoto Station area that features a large natural hot spring bath. The water has excellent heat retention and moisturizing effects, and is popular for its skin-beautifying properties. In the restaurant, you can enjoy beautiful Kyoto cuisine made with seasonal ingredients. If you don't mind the price, this is a luxurious inn where you can enjoy hot springs and delicious food.

  • The food is also delicious, with a delicate and vibrant flavor typical of Kyoto.

  • In addition to the natural hot springs, you can enjoy authentic Kyoto cuisine made with local ingredients such as seasonal Kyoto vegetables. The authentic bar in the hotel also has a great atmosphere, so we recommend you stop by. It is also easily accessible from the station, making it a very convenient inn.

  • A hotel with natural hot springs in front of Kyoto Station

  • "Kyoto Yumoto Hatoya Zuihokaku" is in an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. As it is located in front of the terminal station, Kyoto Station, you can easily access Nanzenji Temple by bus or subway. Even though it is in front of the station, it is equipped with a large bath with natural hot spring water, so you can enjoy the hot springs while taking in the art that gives you a taste of Kyoto.
