No rental car. What is the best hotel for visiting Asahiyama Zoo?
I'm traveling to Hokkaido. I've been to Sapporo before, so this time I'd like to visit Asahiyama Zoo. I'd like to get around without renting a car. It seems like it's accessible by bus or taxi from Asahikawa Station or Asahikawa Airport, so I'm thinking of taking those. I'm looking for a hotel to stay at after visiting the zoo. Do you have any recommendations? Could you recommend a hotel or Ryokan (Japanese inn) that's within easy reach of Asahikawa Station or Asahikawa Airport, and that's within public transportation or taxi distance?

- Dormy Inn Asahikawa is a hotel in front of Asahikawa Station where you can enjoy authentic natural hot springs, which are rare. The large public bath "Kamui no Yu" on the top floor is also equipped with an open-air bath, perfect for soothing your tired legs and hips after touring Asahiyama Zoo.
