• This ryokan is located in Shima Onsen, Gunma Prefecture. I've stayed here twice, and I absolutely love the meals – they use seasonal ingredients, making them very healthy and delicious. What truly stands out, however, is the incredibly friendly atmosphere created by the staff. They are discreet and not overbearing, yet always willing to go the extra mile to meet guests' needs, which makes for an exceptionally comfortable stay.​​
